The Bebamikawe Memorial Trail will be launching a new interactive experience via self guided tour on the Driftscape App on June 21 as part of a week-long event. This interactive tour will be the first to launch on the new App and will take you through the warrior’s trail (red trail) to view interpretive signage and learn the Indigenous names of plants found along the trail. Throughout the trail users will be engaged through the Driftscape app via audio stories of the lookouts and features found throughout the trail. This new trail experience is part of a week-long event from June 21-25 where visitors are encouraged to take part in the self guided hike at the Bebamikawe Memorial Trail and share their experience on Facebook and Instagram @wikytours for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

On Friday, June 25 Wikwemikong Tourism will be hosting their “Making Footprints” Guided Hike to the first 10 people registered following all Covid 19 screening protocols. This guided Indigenous experience will engage your senses on a three-hour medicine tour along the warriors trail. Advance booking is required by calling 705-859-3477.

Users are encouraged to download Driftscape on the App Store or on Google Play or visit www.drifstcape.com
